Deconstructed Noodles

Deconstructed Noodles is a personal project started to explore a new drawing style.

When doodling, I enjoyed drawing overlapping shapes that were less concerned with correctly representing the dimensions of what I saw, but more focused on the composition they make up in a flat rendering. Like Matisse's later work with paper, I enjoy the shapes and colors that make up the object. The theme of deconstructed dishes helped me feel comfortable exploring this style. The style has since taken root in the way I draw today.
